A Request

One of the things I like most about the Mets blogging community is the diversity. You have a wide variety of voices ranging from young kids to old farts like me. I've been a Mets fan since partway through the 1969 season, which gives me a long term perspective on the club.

Barry at Metscentric has me beat, though. He's been a fan of the club since they began playing in the Polo Grounds in 1962. In a post today, he wonders if anyone out there is paying attention. Most of us that blog about the Mets understand that feeling. If you value the voice of a Mets fan that watched Marv Throneberry kick balls around and saw Tom Seaver come up as a rookie in 1967, you might want to take a moment to stop by his blog and let him know that.
