It's Lima Time... In Norfolk

Marlins 12 - Mets 7
I'm not going to go into much detail on this. I'm still a little ticked with Wilpon and company. Jose Lima and Yusaku Iriki both showed why they are unlikely to stick with the Mets. The Marlins scored 5 times on Lima after two men were out in the first. Lima's 2 inning stint totaled 5 earned runs on 6 hits and a walk. Iriki got touched up for a 3-spot in his one inning of work. He gave up 2 hits and 3 walks -- looking like a guy that didn't trust his stuff enough to throw it over the plate.

Likely opening day bullpen arms Pedro Feliciano, Chad Bradford and Aaron Heilman followed, none escaped unscathed. In Heilman's defense, I'm sure he was a little down today.

Jose Reyes and Carlos Beltran both had a pair of hits today. Reyes had a triple, scored a pair of runs and drove in two. Beltran threw out a runner at third. Anderson Hernandez had a hit and a walk and scored 2 runs.

The Mets travel to face the Braves tomorrow. Tom Glavine will get the start -- his final tune-up for opening day.
