Mets 7 - Dodgers 7 (10)
Steve Trachsel was touched up for 3 runs on 5 hits in 4-1/3 innings as the Mets and Dodgers played to a 10 inning tie in Vero Beach. Trachsel walked 2 and struck out 2, and gave up a 2-run homer to Jeff Kent. Matt Perisho was also ineffective, and is looking less and less like a reliable left-hander for the bullpen. Bartolome Fortunato had a chance to save a win for the Mets in the ninth, but allowed the tying run with 2 outs in the ninth in his second inning of relief.
Victor Diaz led the Mets attack with 2-4 including a home run. Jeff Keppinger had a double and a triple in 3 at bats, driving in 3. Lastings Milledge went 3-5 with an RBI and a run scored.
The Mets split the squad tomorrow, with Mike Pelfrey starting against the Braves in Port St. Lucie, while Yasaku Iriki faces the Nats in Viera.
