I've dumped Adelphia Tele-Media cable in favor of DirecTV, but have no plans to let them off the hook for their abysmal service to customers. If anyone out there is fighting the good fight against their cable or satellite company to get the channel and have a web site, petition or any sort of grass roots effort going, let me know and I'll give you a mention. For web sites, I'll give you a link under the Cable and SNY category on the right.
Vinny from Metsville.com has created a Get the Mets on SusCom!! site for his effort against SusCom cable in New York state, which is our first link. Remember, the more noise you make, the harder it is for even cable monopolies to ignore you.
Alternatives to WFAN
I had the following comment left on my site today:
Hey, if you live in the listening area, we talk Mets all the time. 2 hours of 100% commercial-free, no one makes a dime from it, Sports Talk every Tuesday and Thursday from 9PM to 11PM on Long Island's 90.3FM.Daily News Mets beat writer--who put the Sandman "controversy" to bed with the above article--has joined us in-studio for 6 or 7 whole shows taking Mets fans' calls.
You can listen to some of our interviews at http://hosted.filefront.com/patchyfogg
Newsday's Ken Davidoff will be joining us live at 9:15 on Thursday night. Thanks!
I'm too far away, but if you live in the area I encourage you to tune in. Anyone else that offers intelligent local New York sports talk that would provide Mets fans that are sick of WFAN an alternative, please let me know and I'll give you a plug.

let the debates begin.
1.Willie was out coached. That was the real story for me. No Jorge, if Woodward bats for Ahern in the 9th.
2.The batting order will not be the same too much longer.Nady is lobbying for a more pronounced position.
Again:
Reyes
Beltran
Delgado
Wright
Floyd
Nady
LoDuca
Ahern

Didn't see it, Ed, so I have to take your word for it. Getting my DTV tomorrow.
A friend of mine that watched the game said AH looks really, really lost at the plate.
