On SI.com, John Heyman is reporting that the Mets have ensured that Jose Reyes will be their shortstop in the new ballpark, now that they have signed him to a 4-year, $23.25 million contract. Great move by the Mets, we hope that David Wright is next in line.

Update: The official press release on the signing is up on Mets.com.
