First of all, sincere thanks to all of you who passed along your best wishes and/or advice on the new home. Lisa was really touched when I showed her all of the comments. She also saw your email, Al, and promises to hurt me really bad if I try painting the Mets logo in the driveway. The orange and blue color scheme for the house isn't going to survive her veto, either. Oh, well.
If everything goes well we should be settled in there in time for opening day. It will, of course, be a lot of work, but it's also the first home for Lisa and I, so it will be fun. I have a few pictures that I took myself at the bottom of this post for those who are interested.
I'm back working on the Jorge Sosa preview and will post that tomorrow. I've removed Jason Standridge from the preview list since he has elected to be a free agent and go elsewhere. All that will be left after I finish Jorge Sosa is Billy Wagner, and I'll get that one up early next week. Then we'll have to figure out something else to talk about until camp opens.
Here are the home pics. Click on any of the thumbnails for a larger image:
Thanks again, everone!

Whoa, Hoss--there's a not-so-fine line between being happy and rubbin' it in! Nice. Reminds me of all that Realtor.com stuff the wife and I did before we found our home in the woods here in DE back in '01. Hope you show more pics when things get greener.
Is the school district up to Mikey Hampton's specs?

Mike, congrats to Lisa and you. Home ownership is a big step. You're gonna love that screened in porch when the weather warms up a bit.
