Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter Invites New Yorkers To Celebrate The 3rd Annual Alzheimer's Awareness Day At Shea StadiumOn Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 7:10 p.m., baseball fans and members of the Alzheimer's community will unite in the battle against Alzheimer's disease as The New York Mets host the 3rd Annual Alzheimer's Awareness Day at Shea Stadium. The Mets will donate a portion of each ticket to the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter when baseball fans use a special code to purchase tickets online or when they order tickets by contacting Tyrel Kirkham at 718-559-3039 or Tkirkham@nymets.com.
Ticket buyers can also visit the Alzheimer's Association, New York City Chapter website at www.alznyc.org, find the New York Mets icon and click on the "click here to purchase tickets online" link (on the right-hand side of the screen), then follow the directions provided.
A pre-game ceremony with special recognition for the Alzheimer's community will precede the game against the defending World Series Champions, St. Louis Cardinals.
