Mike,
I'm glad you put this breakdown for fans to see, because after an outing like last night along with his past history before coming to the Mets some fans will hit the panic button and start questioning the very move to even pick up Jorge Sosa on the roster.
The guy has been more than anyone could have hoped for up to this point. Yes he had a bad outing , but that's exactly what it was in my eyes...a bad outing.
If anyone remembers Sosa over the past year or so pitching for other teams, his slider is nothing what it has been since coming onboard and getting some direction under Rick Peterson (yes I know I was skeptical about RP for a long time too, but the results over the past year have been undeniable. :)) His slider is tighter and breaks later than I have ever seen it and just looking at the batters swing, is all the evidence one needs to conclude the difficulty at seeing it from a players perspective at the plate.
So, I'm brushing this one off and will wait with much enthusiasm until his next start, where I predict he'll bounce back nicely with a postive effort.
Cheers Mike!

Rob - I think the starters are beginning to press due to the lack of offense. That, as much as anything, to me is what happened to Sosa last night and some of the others recently.
