I apologize that it was necessary to temporarily disallow commenting. Since about 11 AM EDT this site has been subjected to a flood of spam comments at the rate of several per minute. Usually these attacks blow over in a few hours. I will try to re-enable comments later this afternoon.

Update: They're back on as of about 6:15 PM. I'm waiting to see if the spam attack resumes.

There dear! Don't make a fuss. I'll have your spam - I love it! (And so on...)

Well, there's egg and bacon; egg sausage and bacon; egg and spam; egg bacon and spam; egg bacon sausage and spam; spam bacon sausage and spam; spam egg spam spam bacon Andruw Jones and spam; spam sausage spam spam bacon spam tomato and spam...

Hacking our way through the spam, man thats allot of spam. Just looking at the rest of the season and we have 43 games left. IF we win 1/3 of them, we would be 95-67( I think ? )and that seems pretty good. Just 28 wins out of 43 does seem reachable, but IF they play close to .500 ball the rest of the way, it looks bad like 88-74 or 89-73. I think they will be somewhere in the middle, with a shot at the playoffs.

All this spam and math, If they win 2/3 of them we would be 95-67. I am going to take a nap.

I didn't know you were a Mets fan, Graham. As a matter of fact, aren't you dead?
