Equipment Failure / Sanity Break

The monitor of my 6 month old computer system died an untimely death a couple of nights ago. Dell was quick to send out a replacement, which I received today. I spent the last couple of days with my laptop, which isn't an especially powerful system, and that put me a little behind on the paying work.

I'll catch up tomorrow on the entire Mariners series. I don't know what to say that hasn't already been said. The Mets did exactly what I feared they would do after a promising road trip -- came home and played like crap for 2 games. Frankly, with all of the talk of them being buyers right now, I think they should consider being sellers. I don't see one bat making a huge difference in this lineup, particularly since they won't land an elite-quality player.

By the way, Bart Hubbach, I am proud to be one of the "blogger blowhards" that called you on your slimy, fabricated story.

But I'd better get back to the paying stuff for now. I'll be back tomorrow.

About Mike: I was the original writer on this web site, actually its only writer for the first 15 months of existence. Although I am grateful for the excellent contributions of my fellow writers here, I have no plans of stepping back into strictly an editorial role. I started this thing in the first place because I love to write and I love the Mets, and blogging here keeps me somewhat sane. If you haven't had enough already, more bio info can be found here.
