Game 54: Mets 8 - Dodgers 4
The Mets were 6 outs away from a 2-game losing streak and a plunge back to 2 games under .500. They looked dead all day against Chad Billingsley. It was that close to losing those good vibes from the little 3-game winning streak of mid-week.
Yet you just had the feeling that maybe they could do something. They've shown enough life lately so that losing games where they're behind isn't a foregone conclusion.
Sorry, but I have no time today to write more. Please feel free to share your comments below.

Two in a row, and heading to San Fran, hopefully the momentum continues. They have to pick it up on the road, and they need to start with the Giants and Padres. 4-2 would be alright but I'd prefer 5-1 or better. "Big UP's" to Church coming back with a 3 for 4 performance. Santana pitched well, and Beltran might be waking it up just in time. Let's Go Mets, I will try and stay up tonight and watch a few innings.
