Get Well, Bob Klapisch

I was sad to see in a link from Ken Davidoff's baseball insider blog that Bob Klapisch suffered a serious eye injury in a baseball game last night. Details can be found here.

I always respect someone who finds a way to continue to compete in the sports they love as they get older. I had to stop a few years ago because I literally couldn't run any more. I hope you'll all join me in wishing Bob Klapisch a speedy (and full) recovery.

Amen brother.

Get well Bob. Man that's scary, just reading it gave me chills. I will add him to my prayers. I forgot what a winning streak is. Is that when you win more than two in a row? Now at seven, wow! break up the Mets. This is fun again. What do you think about Sexon? He has been released. I hear Raul Ibanez name bouncing around too.
