The Marlins score 2 off Santana to open the game, but he shuts them down through seven and gives the Mets a chance to win.
Unfortunately, J.J. Putz is awful in the eighth and the Mets 1-11 with RISP comes back to haunt them as the game slips away.
The Mets end April on yet another losing streak and fall 3 games under .500.
