Game 22: Mets 7 - Phillies 4
Losers of 6 of their last 9 games, the Mets limp into Philadelphia looking for a tonic to get May off to a good start. They found one in Phillies starter Chan Ho Park.
The Mets score all 7 runs against Park, then manage only a hit and a pair of walks in 4 1/3 innings against the Phillies bullpen.
Still, it was good enough as Mike Pelfrey was good enough for 5 1/3, and the bullpen closed it out.
It wasn't a perfect game for the Mets, but they looked sharper than they had for most of the last two weeks. The win pulls the Mets back to 2 games under .500.
