I'm going to be a guest tonight (Tuesday, April 19) on Steve Keane's terrific This Call To The Bullpen podcast. The show will be broadcast live at 11 PM Eastern Time.
I hope you can find the time to listen to it live. If you do miss the broadcast, you can play the podcast on demand at a later time.
I'm sure most of my readers are familiar with Steve's The Eddie Kranepool Society blog. Steve has been blogging regularly about the New York Mets longer than anyone, and his blog is a must-read for Mets fans.
If you're not familiar with Steve's vocal talents, though, you really should check him out. I've been listening to This Call To The Bullpen and the podcasts Steve does for the Baseball Blogger's Alliance for quite some time. Steve's an excellent interviewer. I listen to as many Mets and baseball podcasts as I can, and he's as good as anyone I've heard -- and better than most. Hopefully he can even make me sound smart.
If you're tired of all the b.s. on WFAN, but really enjoy good baseball talk, I couldn't recommend Steve's work any higher.
I also have something I wrote that should be posting on another site today. I'll link to it when it's live.
About Mike: I was the original writer on this web site, actually its only writer for the first 15 months of existence. Although I am grateful for the excellent contributions of my fellow writers here, I have no plans of stepping back into strictly an editorial role. I started this thing in the first place because I love to write and I love the Mets, and blogging here keeps me somewhat sane. If you haven't had enough already, more bio info can be found here.
