A Couple of Shout-Outs

I'll be back soon with a regular post, but I wanted to take a minute to give some love to a couple of worthwhile ventures.

First up is an excellent blog by my friend John from Albany. John used to manage the also excellent Mack's Mets website. Now John is back with his own site, Mets News & Links. John does a great job of curating worthwhile reading about the New York Mets from blogs and traditional news sites.

The second one is my brother George Steffanos' site for his outstanding book Then The Hail Came, the true story of his 1983 thru-hike of the Appalachian Trail. The book is for sale on Amazon.com, also. The website includes a sample chapter to check out.

I have added both of these sites to my links page.

Bad news today that after another very long night of negotiating, MLB and the Players Association still couldn't agree on a new CBA. Almost on cue, it snowed today after a stretch of some nice spring weather. It sure has been a long winter. Sigh...

Back soon with some new content, In the meantime, please be well and take care.
